On 27th and 28th of July, 2019 a national level open event- “CHILDREN’S CLIMATE CONFERENCE” was organized by Green Mentoring Association at Indus University. In this event approximately 500-600 students from different states and schools participated. Different categories were given to all the participants out of which our school Anand Niketan, Bhadaj Campus chase to go for an international event called as “MODEL UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE”. In this 50 students participated from different schools out of which 15 students were from our school.

This event was all about suspension of the virgin views of our children as per the topic and country assigned to them. Debate and Motions on the flow were based on 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the issues which are faced by the member countries of United Nations like Somalia, Germany,India,Maldives,Saudi Arabia, South Sudan etc.

Our students did a wonderful job and expressed their views on the adopted Agenda which was “Climate Change”. Out of 15 participants from our school 3 students had won the prize. Hriday Samdani of Grade-10 who represented Germany was awarded for being the best country and for giving the outstanding Resolution for the Agenda. Noopur Patel of Grade -7 who represented Somalia was awarded for being the best diplomat for the Agenda. Heartiest Congratulations to the Students and the entire ANBC Team.It was a winning and a proud moment for all of us.
